WELCOME TO THE 2011 FORMULA 1 VALENCIA GRAND PRIX

The highest class of auto racing returns this summer to Valencia. In June 2011 the city will be holding the 9th race of the Formula One season.

A spectacular street circuit, 5 kilometres long with 25 curves, will convert the City for the fourth time into the perfect stage for the world’s best drivers.

The circuit makes use of roads leading around the city’s harbour and America’s Cup port area and further embraces a racing section over a 140-metre long swing bridge.

Pole-position is vital for F1 pilots, as overtaking opportunities are rare and difficult, a task which drivers will have to bear up with as the circuit is not supposed to change.
